I take great pride in my work. I am careful not to get paint on the ceiling, trim, or floors and use drop cloths to protect your surfaces. I want you to be just as happy with the job as I'd want to be if someone were completing a project for me.  

Punctuality is important to me. I will complete your painting project in a timely manner and will be open and honest about how long a project will take to complete. I tend to slightly overestimate days needed so that any potential delays don’t impact my next job starting on time.

Wooden accent walls are a timeless way to elevate your space. With so many beautiful designs to choose from, you can go for something simple and elegant or a design that’s both stylish and functional, the choice is yours!

For all of my accent walls, I use 3/8" MDO wood. This thickness is ideal: it creates the bold look you want without sticking out too far. It won’t interfere with baseboards, furniture placement, or the overall flow of your room. 

Most installers use 1x boards or MDF for accent walls, but I wasn’t satisfied with those options. 1x boards stick out too far from the wall, while MDF can warp or bubble if it ever gets wet. That’s why I pioneered using 3/8" MDO wood for my accent walls. It has the perfect thickness for a seamless, polished look, and it’s extremely durable. While it takes a lot more prep work on my end than the alternative options, it is far superior and built to last for years to come. 

Please note: For all of my wooden accent walls, your existing wall surface becomes the backdrop. For example, the spacing between the board and batten strips and the small gaps between the shiplap boards will reveal your current wall behind them. Before painting, I’ll patch small nail holes or dents as needed to create a smooth, clean surface. Most homes in Minnesota have smooth drywall, but if your walls are textured, please let me know right away so I can plan and quote accordingly.

Board and batten is my most requested accent wall and for good reason! It’s the perfect balance of style and practicality, making it a great choice for mudrooms, entryways, hallways, or bedrooms.

This design doesn’t just look beautiful; it’s versatile too. Add hooks and it instantly becomes functional for coats, backpacks, towels, and more. Once painted in the color of your choice, the wall takes on a dimensional, 3D effect that adds depth, character, and a true custom feel to your space.

Whether installed vertically or horizontally, with or without a shelf above, shiplap is always a fan favorite! It’s a versatile look that works beautifully in entryways, mudrooms, bathrooms, and more. Adding hooks makes it not only beautiful, but functional. 

Vertical shiplap has been especially popular when painted in a bold, fun color, but classic white is just as stunning. Either way, it’s a simple and stylish way to add texture, dimension, and character to your walls.

Geometric designs are some of the most versatile accent walls you can choose. With endless patterns and layouts, perfect for an oddly shaped wall, a wall with a window, or a big rectangular one! No two designs are ever the same, which makes this option a true statement piece for your home.

Beyond the artistic impact, geometric walls can also be practical. By adding horizontal boards into the design, I can create a spaces for hooks, giving you a stylish way to hang coats, bags, or towels without sacrificing the look of the wall.
